TFA Cosplay

And hot on the heels of my massive amounts of movie and data processing, we have Mayhem’s Fanime 2012 Pics now up. Though he was only there for a couple of days, he managed to snag some great pics pics including both backstage Masquerade and pics of the Black and White Ball at its brand new location! Some good stuff this time around, so check it out.

Still getting used to my Nikon D7000, so the post processing on these pics is reminiscent of the post processing I had to do on my Nikon D40x. Also wound up having to drop a few since focus was a bit off, but in any event, here are the pics for Fanime 2012.

Even with the technical difficulties, I’m rather impressed with what my new camera can really do, though it will be awhile before I master it fully. A few of the pics at the end were taken with my Olympus EPL-1, so that’s why they may look a little different. As always I hope you enjoy them, and if any cosplayer wishes for larger, unedited, and/or raw versions of their pics, message me, and I’ll make them available. Finally, if you have one of my cards either side of that card has an email address I can be contacted at, so don’t be afraid to use either.

And after bugging him for nearly a year we have Beacon’s Comic Con 2011 up for viewing. Almost in time for next year’s Comic Con, hehehehe. Enjoy!

In other news, as soon as I find a plugin for it, I want to see about adding some associates such as Pio and Gensao who also host their pics on other pages. This may require a theme update too, so stay tuned.

It was a fantastic year for costumes at ACEN, and even with the unfortunate cancellation of the Masquerade due to the fire alarm, it was a very fun year all around. After procrastinating for an ungodly amount of time, I’ve finally gotten around to posting Gensao’s pics from PMX 2011. For those that were looking for more meat to their con going experience, look no further. Gensao is known for his prodigious efforts at photographing anything and everyone he can at conventions, trying to ensure that nothing is lost to the mists of time, and in this he does not disappoint…even though we were only there for one day. Of particular note is the amount of pictures he took of the Ladies Of Tenchi Muyo panel which will be a treat for everyone who was a fan of that series.
