TFA Cosplay

Well, as promised before, I’ve created a torrent for the concerts that I attended at this year’s Anime Conji which you can get here from this post on Dragon’s Anime.

Music, though I have no real talent for it, is something I deeply enjoy. Live music especially, put on by people who really love what they’re doing and are GOOD at it, is one of the best things in life I would have to say. The three concerts here are from the artists Traci Hines, Stephanie Yanez, and The Black Crystals, most of which should be familiar if you attend any of the conventions here in sunny California. They bring their best game to what was really a smaller crowd of fans in a more cozy setting, but that didn’t deter them in the slightest. So if you’ve never seen these three, I’d say give this one a go; you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Anime Conji this past weekend. First anime convention here in sunny San Diego, and the first year for it. As I always do, I went to take pics and record video.

So, after playing through both Dragon Age: Origins and Darksiders, the time has finally come for me to do my review. Having no way of ever hoping to top the Draconic largeness that is my compatriot’s quite accurate review of Dragon Age and leaving me with no other alternative, outside of reviewing Phantasy Star 2 (a game I despise more than I can say in such a short space), my review will focus on Darksiders.

It’s a damn good game, and it delivered on the fun it promised, but check out the review, and see it for yourself.

Can’t believe I let this one go; I should be flogged. I’ll have to look into getting a Texan dominatrix, with spine grinding high heels, and a penchant for pain. In any event, awhile ago, One Piece Abridged put out a neat little short for Nanowrimo, or National Novel Writing Month. But why bother describing it, when you can listen to Koby tell you all about it on the special below.

Someone should shoot me for taking so long at this.  In any event, in the November timeframe I went to a small convention for about a day called Pacific Media Expo to meet up with an old friend who, while being an old friend, I’d never seen in real life.  While there, I did what I typically do at a convention, and that’s to take a few pictures.

Continuing on with the success of the first episode, the East Blue Players proudly present: One Piece: The Abriged Series: A Pirate And His Crew – Ep 002 – All Tied Up and Nowhere To Go

I admit, I really enjoy working on this series with everyone, though my primary character, Koby, is about to leave it; which is a shame, as I really liked him as well ironically enough (at least for those who know me anyway, heh.)

I figure I made the point to myself, and demonstrated to everyone else what could be done with the pics to make them look real good for the first 100. Having finally managed to resurrect the Platinum Dragon as an undead Lich (J/K man, heheheh) I once again turn my attention to the final torrent of this season’s convention videos, that being the Anime Expo 2009 Masquerade. It was entertaining, but I must admit, nothing stood out in my mind this year, other than the half time show. Either way, it was a fun time.

Here in a bit, I’ll upload the final pics from Mayhem’s 2009 collection, and hopefully by this weekend, I’ll have the final annotations of the pics that I want to make up. Then finally, maybe I can review something.

The East Blue Players proudly present, a Galley Master Masami production, One Piece: The Abridged Series Episode One! Got to admit, I’m glad Masami started this project as it was a lot of fun working on it with Masami (who has basically put the whole thing together himself, as well as being a VA for it), Drakstern, and Moonie as fellow VAs. I’m certainly looking forward to working on future episodes with them. Now, without further ado, on with the show!
